Katrina Kaif wants to do only romantic films with Abhishek Bachchan

Katrina Kaif has surprisingly never paired with Abhishek Bachchan after a brief role in Sarkar. Now, she’s eager to work with him, but has one condition.

That condition is that Katrina is only interested in doing romantic roles opposite Abhishek. Films of other genre -- namely action, comedy, drama -- do not feature on her wishlist when Abhishek is in contention to be her male co-star in the film.

Not surprising then that she has turned down a few offers of working with Abhishek, just because the genre was not romance. Reportedly she turned down Abbas-Mastan’s thriller Players opposite Abhishek and another film by Rajkumar Santoshi.

“I’ve been looking forward to working with Abhishek. But I didn’t want to do any genre except a romantic film with him,” Katrina is quoted as saying in a media report.

She is slated to act with him in the rom-com Dostana 2, but the film is still stuck in pre-production stages apparently due to some creative differences between director Tarun Mansukhani and producer Karan Johar.

Guess she’ll have to wait longer before doing a full-on romantic film with Abhishek.
