Jelang Kesimpulan Akhir, Pansus Rapat Tertutup di Hotel Sultan

Panitia khusus angket Century akan menggelar rapat membahas kesimpulan akhir di Hotel Sultan malam ini. Rapat yang digelar tertutup ini tak menutup kemungkinan adanya lobi antar fraksi.

"Rapatnya tertutup," kata Ketua Pansus Angket Century Idrus Marham saat dikonfirmasi wartawan tentang rapat Pansus di Hotel Sultan, Jl Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, Rabu (24/12/2010).

Idrus menjelaskan, Pansus sedang mengumpulkan pandangan akhir fraksi yang dibacakan Selasa kemarin malam. Namun menurut Idrus, tidak menutup kemungkinan ada lobi. Lobi, menurut Idrus, tidak selalu berkonotasi negatif.

"Lobi ya silakan saja. Terserah kalau mau lobi sembilan orang itu," kata Idrus.

Soal lobi tidak dibantah Wakil Ketua Pansus Century Mahfudz Sidik. Mahfudz yang akan memimpin rapat ini menyampaikan ada kemungkinan lobi.

"Kan belum selesai, kalau mufakat tidak bisa, ya lobi," jelas Mahfudz kepada detikcom.  Diberitakan sebelumnya sembilan anggota Pansus saja yang akan menghadiri pertemuan. Perwakilan fraksi akan membahas kesimpulan bersama tim ahli.

Recently it has been reported that the actress has been nominated for the 55th Annual Filmfare Awards for her performance in the film ‘New York, there were many questions asked to the actress about her feelings for being nominated.

Kats who is normally very reserved in her comments did show that she was made of sterner stuff when she answered that it felt good to be nominated but then to receive an Award was not written in her list of priorities, as in the past too she has been nominated but the Award was given to some otheractress. But this time she boldly insisted that she would like to give herself an Award as she was sure others would not do so.

Kats also went on to say that Salman Khan who was in the industry for the last 20 years had not got a single Award and perhaps she was following his footsteps that even though they deserved Awards it was always given to some other Star. Kats jokingly commented that Salman and she should be getting special Awards for not getting any Awards till date.

All this took place in Mumbai where Kats was called to announce the Awards which are to take place in Yash Raj Studios on the 27th of February. Katrina is to perform on many of her hit songs for the Awards night and has begun her practice sessions.

Well the other nominations for the category along with Katrina are strong contenders like Kareena Kapoor 3 Idiots, Priyanka Chopra for ‘Kaminey’, and Deepika Padukone for ‘Love Aaj Kal’etc So with a tough competition from her contemporaries it remains to be seen if Kats wish to win an Award is fulfilled or not, but till then our fingers are crossed for her.

It seems Katrina Kaif is more dived into Saif Ali Khan‘s new goodwill project to spread awareness about the evil of domestic violence upon women. Recently they have received a strong support from other film personalities like Harman Baweja and Minnisha Lamba who have joined hands to spread the message effectively.

This mission which was founded by Women Against Violence and Empowerment (WAVE) has broached a cause with Flying Unicorn Entertainment to put an end to domestic violence upon women in the country.

Katrina, Harman and Saif will be participation in the WAVE welfare event to give impulse to their welfare mission and to curb the evil of domestic violence upon women.

If there is any meaningful cause Katrina will whole heartily plunge into the project, a source reported, "Katrina always likes being part of something meaningful. If her presence brings greater recognition towards the cause she always extends her full hearted support,"

That’s the actual spirit and strength that women should stand up for their right as Katrina has displayed so boldly. Hope Katrina and Saif’s mission receives a million’s response on the day of their event that is to be held on Saturday in Mumbai.

Katrina pleads for Filmfare Award

Hottest babe Katrina Kaif has pleaded for a Filmfare Award. Salman Khan itself have never received a single best actor award in his entire career nor has she, will he comfort her? - the media popped her the question and she nodded her head saying "So please give me an award" .
Katrina Kaif was nominated for Filmfare Best Actress award for 2009 for the movie New York. When asked that apart from her whom would she choose for an award, she pointed Priyanka Chopra and Vidya Balan but smilingly asked "But why can't I choose myself?" Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor are also in the race.

She concluded saying that she is happy for getting nominated "I am happy being nominated. I don't want to go through that nail-biting experience of whether I am winning the award or not.
