Tara Leigh Patrick (born April 20, 1972), professionally known as Carmen Electra,[1] is an American glamour model, television personality, dancer, singer and actress.

Biography
Early life

Tara was born in Sharonville, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, to Patricia, a vocalist, and Harry Patrick, an entertainer and guitarist; her mother died of a brain tumor in 1998. She had an older sister, Debbie, who died from a heart attack, also in 1998.[2] Tara attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati and graduated Princeton High School in Sharonville.[3]

[edit] Career
After moving to California, she met singer Prince (a Minneapolis native), who persuaded her to change her name to Carmen Electra. Soon after, she signed a recording contract with Paisley Park Records, Prince's company, marking the start of a short-lived rap career, which included one album.

In 1995, Electra started appearing in various television programs. Then, in May of 1996 she was featured in a nude pictorial in Playboy magazine, the first of several. This exposure led to higher profile television appearances, including Baywatch (cast member from 1997-1998) and MTV's Singled Out. She returned to Baywatch for the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

Carmen Electra became so popular among readers of Playboy that she was featured in the magazine three more times, with her second appearance in June 1997. She subsequently graced the cover twice, in December 2000 and April 2003. In the Playboy Cyber Club, she was the first woman invited to be a celebrity guest photographer; she chose Playmate Jennifer Walcott as her subject model.

Electra has appeared in several films, such as Good Burger (1997), The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999), the horror spoof Scary Movie (2000) and also appeared in Scary Movie 4 (2006), Epic Movie (2007), "Date Movie" (2007) and the remake of the 1970s TV show Starsky & Hutch (2004). She won an MTV Movie Award (best kiss) for Starsky & Hutch. Her acting work is generally panned by critics.[4]

In 1999, she appeared in the Bloodhound Gang's music video of "The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope."

In 2005, she joined the voice cast of the animated series Tripping the Rift, replacing Gina Gershon as the voice of the sexy android "Six". In late 2006, Carmen began to be featured in commercials by Taco Bell.

Electra is the current spokesmodel for Ritz Camera Centers, appearing in their television and print ads with CEO David Ritz. She is featured in some video spoofs of Lonelygirl15 that are advertising Epic Movie.

She is a playable character in the video game Def Jam: Fight for New York and is one of the celebrity challenges in the video game, ESPN NFL 2K5, along with Steve-O, Jamie Kennedy, and others.

Personal life

Shooting a commercial.Electra was previously romantically involved with rap star B Real of Cypress Hill from 1995 to 1998. It was revealed when B Real and Electra were both on The Howard Stern Show that B Real had purchased breast implants for her.

Electra achieved publicity during her on-again, off-again marriage to basketball star Dennis Rodman from 1998 to 1999. The wedding to Rodman took place at Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later, she had a brief affair with Tommy Lee, the ex-husband of Pamela Anderson.

On November 22, 2003, Electra married Dave Navarro, former lead guitarist for the rock bands Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The couple documented their courtship and marriage in an MTV celebreality show called 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.[5] On 17 July 2006, she and Navarro announced their separation. Their rep confirmed their separation to Star Magazine. Electra filed for divorce on 10 August. It was finalized on February 20, 2007.[6][7]

In 2006, Electra stated that when she was eight years old she had a "little girl crush" on Joan Jett.[8] In 2007, tabloid sources linked the two of them together romantically.[9] However, Electra's spokeswoman has insisted "They are just friends."[10] In June 2007, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel asked Electra if her relationship with Jett was romantic. Electra stated; "We're just friends". She went on to say that she collects tabloid articles that suggest she and Jett are dating because she is a fan of Jett and finds them amusing as well.[11]

Monica Anna Maria Bellucci Filmography and Biography

(born September 30, 1964) is an Italian actress and former fashion model. She is considered an Italian sex symbol[1].

Personal life
Bellucci was born in Città di Castello, Umbria, Italy, to Luigi Bellucci and Maria Gustinelli. Monica started modelling at 16, when she was attending to the Liceo Classico. Initially pursuing a career as a lawyer, by modeling Bellucci helped finance her tuition while at the University of Perugia[2], but the glamorous lifestyle tempted Monica away from her law studies.

She speaks Italian, French, and English fluently and has acted in each of these languages, as well as Aramaic.

She is married to fellow actor Vincent Cassel, with whom she has appeared in several films and had a daughter, named Deva (born September 12, 2004). In 2004, while pregnant with her daughter, Bellucci posed nude for the Italian Vanity Fair Magazine in protest against Italian laws that allow only married couples to use in-vitro fertilization and that prevent the use of donor sperm.[3]

Career

[edit] Modeling
In 1988, Bellucci moved to one of Europe's fashion centers, Milan, where she signed with Elite Model Management. By 1989, she was becoming prominent as a fashion model in Paris and across the Atlantic, in New York City. She posed for Dolce & Gabbana and French ELLE, among others. In that year, Bellucci made the transition to acting and began taking acting classes. In 2003, she was featured in Maxim.[4] In 2004, she topped AskMen's 100 Most Beautiful Women in the World annual list.

Bellucci's modelling career is managed by Elite+ in NYC.

Entertainment

Bellucci's film career began in the early 1990s. In 1992 she made her first appearance in a major English-language film as one of Dracula's brides in Bram Stoker's Dracula. She became known and popular with English-speaking audiences following her lead role in the acclaimed Italian film Malèna, as well as through the portrayal of a rape victim in the highly controversial Irréversible, though is perhaps best known for her role as Persephone in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions followed by her portrayal of Mary Magdelene in The Passion of the Christ.

After her work in The Passion of the Christ, Bellucci was assumed by many fans to be Roman Catholic. However in a documentary about the film, The Big Question, she stated: "I am an Agnostic, even though I respect and am interested in all religions. If there's something I believe in, it's a mysterious energy; the one that fills the oceans during tides, the one that unites nature and beings."[5]

In 2005, Belucci starred in The Brothers Grimm as a beautiful evil queen.

Her latest films are The Stone Council, directed by the Frenchman Guillaume Nicloux (2006) and Manuale d'amore 2 (2007) where she portrays a physiotherapist in the first segment of the film who is object of the desire of her patient. She was supposed to be seen portraying Indian politician Sonia Gandhi in the biopic Sonia planned for release in 2007 but that has now been shelved. As of February 2007 she has finished Shoot 'Em Up, where she plays a prostitute opposite Clive Owen, and is currently filming Le Deuxième souffle, an Alain Corneau thriller with Daniel Auteuil, Michel Blanc and former football player Eric Cantona.

Bellucci also voiced as Kaileena in the video game Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

Biography

Personal life

Emma Watson was born in Paris, France to Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, English lawyers who lived in France at the time (Watson's grandmother is French).[2] Watson has a younger brother named Alex. She lived in Paris until age five, then moved with her mother and brother to Oxford, England.

Watson attended The Dragon School, a private preparatory school, until June 2003, when she moved to Headington School, a private all-girls school in Oxford. In June 2006, Watson sat GCSE examinations in 10 subjects, achieving eight A* and two A grades.[3] She is studying for her Advanced Subsidiary (AS) levels in Dance, Art and English literature.[4]

Watson is an avid sports player and her musical interests (as of Spring 2005) include singing, hip hop, blues, and classic rock, including Eminem, Eric Clapton, U2, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse, and Norah Jones. She also claims to be a big fan of the Shrek films, toast, and Destiny's Child.[5]

She has said that she feels her celebrity status is partly responsible for her not having a boyfriend, stating: "Guys are either intimidated by me, or they have defences up, or they like to take the piss out of me."[6] Watson was ranked number 98 in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2007 list.[7]

Career

Prior to her role in the Harry Potter films, Watson's acting experience was limited, consisting only of minor roles in school plays, including Arthur: The Young Years and The Happy Prince. Other school activities included the Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition, in which, at the age of seven, she won first place for her year.

Watson was eleven years old when Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone—titled Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States—was released. She has since appeared in all subsequent Potter films: Chamber of Secrets (2002), Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Goblet of Fire (2005), and Order of the Phoenix. Despite reports saying Watson refused to sign a contract to appear in the final two Potter installments, her commitment to the final two films was confirmed in late March 2007 by Warner Brothers. At the time she said "I could never let Hermione go--she is my hero! I love her too much and love what playing her has meant to me. I am excited and honoured to be finishing what I started and playing her in all seven of the films."[8] (Daniel Radcliffe's involvement in the last two films had been confirmed earlier that month.[9])

At age fifteen, Watson became the youngest person to appear on the cover of Teen Vogue magazine until the appearance of American actress Willa Holland. She also served on a jury, along with Pierce Brosnan, Kenneth Branagh, and Samantha Morton, to select the 2004 teen-aged filmmakers' "First Light" for the Film Award ceremony in Leicester Square in London.[10] She also played Hermione in The Queen's Handbag, a special mini-episode of Harry Potter in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday.
